Chadds Ford township in Chester County, is a historic area in Pennsylvania, just across the Delaware border and 25 miles west of Philadelphia. It is part of Southeastern Pennsylvania, but is a unique community unto itself. The area is considered semi-rural with rolling hills and preserved expanses with busy suburban communities surrounding it. Anchored by the Brandywine River and the bucolic Brandywine River Valley, Chadds Ford is home to the Brandywine Battlefield, and memorialized in iconic paintings by internationally beloved Andrew Wyeth, as well as N.C. and Jamie Wyeth. The rural feel of the area yet easy accessibility to all of life’s conveniences makes this a very desirable place to live.
