Kerry Wendel

A Wilmington native and longtime resident, Kerry loves Wilmington and has long family ties in the area. She graduated from Villanova University with a degree in accounting which led her to the banking industry as a successful commercial lender in New York City. Returning to the Wilmington area with her husband Bill, her career path took her to raising their 3 children, yet she kept busy – involving herself in fund raising activities at her children’s various schools; developing marketing skills along the way. Kerry remains dedicated to fundraising and is a founding member of the local Guilty Girls Giving Group which hosts an annual event raising money for women and children in the Delaware area.

One constant in Kerry’s life has been her love for houses. She has decorated, renovated and built 5 homes from Hoboken, NJ to Tuscaloosa, AL. As her youngest child moved on to college, her love for houses and interior design led her to work for custom home builder, Dewson Construction, as their Marketing Manager. Working with their team to build custom homes, Kerry realized she had a passion for helping others achieve their real estate goals and will continue on this path working with BFPSIR’s President, Laird Bunch, on all aspects of the Real Estate Business. She is licensed in Delaware and Pennsylvania.

With Kerry’s background and experience in marketing, she will also be taking on the role of Director of Marketing at Brandywine Fine Properties Sotheby’s International Realty. With Kerry’s expertise, our clients at BFPSIR will receive the best marketing efforts to get their home SOLD!

Kerry’s long ties to the area, love of houses combined with her strong work ethic, willingness to happily go the extra mile while maintaining her commitment to her client’s goals, make her a natural fit for Brandywine Fine Properties Sotheby’s International Realty.
